More about me
I’ve intentionally hidden the link to this page. Last updated September 20.
quirks
I’m literally a cat.
Vibes I like:
abstract and technical yet playful and silly (kiki x bouba)
intuitive
“holistic curiosity”
taking heavy things lightly
“Having fun with things we usually avoid”
many of my social events are just this
I’ve eaten mostly only beef since 2020.
I taught myself intuitive bodywork: stretching and flexibility, massage, calisthenics, isometrics, partner stretching.
I’ve also taught 75 people the basics of intuitive massage.
I’m literally a dog.
Interested in intentional parenting
An interview I conducted:
I solved my chronic (3.5y) neck pain in May 2024
I studied physics at Carnegie Mellon University until I dropped out to do interesting work & make friends.
@visakanv mentioned me in FAN.
I once co-founded a new summer camp for talented high school students. It later became Atlas Fellowship, $10M scholarship program but I declined to join the founding team.
I can matchmake you for Keeper.
If you’re 19 or younger and reading this, please apply to SPARC and/or ESPR next cycle! I’m staff sometimes. I wish I knew about these programs when I was in high school.
questions
What are the payoffs for being unenlightened?
How do groups coordinate while defending themselves from cancers? see: collective intelligence
goals
Understand the generators of synchronous social interaction
Formalize moral badness and moral goodness for application in AI (cf davidad)
Make growth (as defined by enlightened social interaction) quick, easy, and scalable
Retroactively fund people and projects who have helped significantly
Family stuff:
Kids before 30
Financial/social wealth for raising kids in San Francisco
Urban co-parenting village (like Noasis if you’ve heard of it)
Children are born enlightened. I don’t want to make them unenlightened.
San Francisco events
My tweet about an Extreme Awkwardness event I ran went viral. It inspired a copy in NYC (retrospective).
Yes two people ended up in bed together.
That event of mine also inspired a whole series of events in Toronto.
At least two long-term relationships have formed between attendees
Many friendships!
